Paul Judson Boulware was born in rural Tallapoosa County, Alabama, on May 22, 1941. He passed away at his home on February 18, 2025, at the age of 83 years.
He graduated from Union High School and attended Auburn University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters's Degree in Science Education. He was an avid Auburn fan and thoroughly enjoyed following Auburn football and basketball. After several years of teaching at Tallassee High School, he moved his family to Auburn and worked at the State Chemical Lab at Auburn University as a chemist. He retired after 28 years, and moved back to Tallapoosa County.
Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities with his family. He was an exceptional hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He hunted and fished in Montana and Colorado frequently; as well as in Ontario and Newfoundland, Canada, and Para, Brazil, where he fished the Amazon River. After his retirement, he and his wife, Anna, traveled extensively. Throughout his life, Paul enjoyed playing music, particularly bluegrass. He played dobro and guitar and was a member of several local bands in the Auburn/Dadeville area.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anna Davis Boulware; son, Paul Judson Boulware, Jr.(Suzanne); granddaughters, Emma Suzanne Boulware, Anna Lillian Boulware, and Katie McMillan Boulware of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; daughter, Jeannie Boulware Treilobs; grandson, Michael Palmer Reynolds of Dadeville, Alabama; sibling, Dale Boulware Cleaver (Mike)of LaFayette, Alabama; Niece, Kim Stephens; nephews Jaye Stephens, Jordie Stephens; Nephew, Warren Cleaver; brother-in-law, Benjamin McMillan Davis (Rita) of Bay Minette, Alabama.
